This research is conducted to investigate the use of dating apps nowadays in this uprising era particularly in Malaysia. The method used is by applying quantitative research by answering a short survey consisted of 40 questions. Dating apps is an alternative way for people to communicate and find their love interest nor just to meet new people. This research is conducted to study regarding the effectiveness of dating apps in Malaysia. Based on the results and findings, it indicates that the level of acceptance towards dating apps in Malaysia is low (M= 2.27). Same goes to the effectiveness of datings apps in Malaysia which is also low (M=2.36) and the level of dating apps usage is also recorded as low (M=2.41). So, throughout this study, dating apps is still not effective in Malaysia (M=2.35).
Everyone will eventually get to the age where they have to buy a house. It is impossible that no one could have no problem at all when buying a house. But while they are struggling buying a house, what about the developers? Housing glut can happen and it may as well be a loss towards the developers. When it comes to financial, the commitment towards buying a house is really tough. . When it comes to financial, the commitment towards is really tough. They need to think about their families, basic necessities, loans and many other commitments can lead to financial pressure In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the lowest level of needs is physiological which are air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep and others. In relation to housing affordability, even though it is in the lowest level of needs, it is still crucial for a family to have a shelter. The respondents for this study are 200 Malaysians aged from 18 to 50 and above. The data is collected through an online survey with a total of 42 close-ended questions while the raw data collected is analysed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Findings found that only one out of the five hypothesis is accepted which is the expectancy of the house they want at β=0.341.
Dewasa ini penterjemahan satu bahasa kepada bahasa yang lain bukan hanya melibatkan manusia sahaja tetapi ia juga dapat dilakukan melalui aplikasi-aplikasi penterjemahan yang boleh didapati di dalam internet. Pada mulanya kemampuan aplikasi-aplikasi ini adalah menterjemahkan satu-satu perkataan namun sejak akhir-akhir ini ada aplikasi yang kelihatannya dapat menterjemahkan bukan sahaja perkataan bahkan dapat menterjemahkan frasa ayat lengkap dan buku. Antara aplikasi yang sering digunakan dan mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan ialah aplikasi Google Translate yang di dalamnya terdapat penterjemahan dari bahasa Melayu ke bahasa Arab dan sebaliknya. Namun begitu sejauh manakah ketepatan hasil terjemahan Google Translate, apakah ianya sesuai digunakan untuk menerjemahkan teks-teks bahasa Melayu yang akan diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Arab. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketepatan Google Translate dalam proses menterjemahkan teks bahasa Melayu ke bahasa Arab dan menerangkan kesalahan-kesalahan yang didapati melalui skrip main peranan (role play) yang disediakan pelajar UiTM Cawangan Melaka sebagai sebahagian dari ujian berterusan sepanjang semester. Kajian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat kepada para pengkaji bahasa Arab agar meminimumkan penggunaan Google Translate serta memperhalusi hasil penterjemahan terutama dalam perkara yang berkaitan kosa kata dan struktur ayat.
This paper investigates the importance of ethical practices in journalism by critically looking at what media ethics is all about and how to resolve ethical dilemmas. Moreover, asks an important question: why do journalists often tend to ignore ethical principles and tweak the news stories? This paper answers these questions by applying various moral philosophies, codes of ethics, frameworks such as Kantian and Virtue Ethics and by referring to relevant case studies. This paper intends to deliberate the need for and importance of ethics in journalism.
Saudi Arabia is an Arabic country in the Middle East. It is not only considered the homeland of the Arab people - it is thought that the first Arabs originated on the Arabian Peninsula - but also the homeland of Islam, the world's second-largest religion. It is the location of the two holy pilgrimage cities of Mecca and Medina. Due to the fact that Saudi Arabia has these two most sacred cities to Muslims, it is known for being one of the most conservative countries in the world. All Saudis are Arab Muslim. Arabic is the official language of the country, but English is considered to be a second language taught at schools and used in business. It is essential to realize that Islamic culture, which permeates every aspect of a Muslim's life, also permeates every aspect of the Saudi Arabian state (Bogari, 2002).
Celebrity means a famous person especially in entertainment or sport. This study is made to see whether celebrity makes an impact and influence people into choosing which political parties. The questionnaires were made via Google Docs and spread through social media. The study involved 400 respondents in Malaysia selected through a purpose sampling method. A cross sectional survey and structured questionnaires were used for data collection. All variables were measured through scales previously used by other researchers. SPSS software was used for the analysis. Results shows that the level of acceptance towards involvement of celebrity in polity is very high (m=2.9).
This research is basically aimed to recognize and measure the factors of employees’ job satisfaction among lecturers specifically in the organization of UiTM Melaka, Campus of Alor Gajah. In the world of development, this topic is prominent in its way as every organizations need to improve their employees’ satisfaction to produced a decent job (Wan Ahmad & Abdurahman, 2015). There were many familiar present studies in this field that may be a strong stand to be referred. By using Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory and Herzberg Motivator-Hygiene Theory which are related to job satisfaction field, there were four relevant factors of employees’ job satisfaction; work relationships, job security, self efficiency and payment and reward. A survey is conducted based on Krejcie and Morgan Table, N=340, S=181. A total of 212 questionnaires were answered by the lecturers of UiTM Melaka, Campus of Alor Gajah as purposely sampling and produced the results. The findings of this research resulted Multiple Linear Regression Method that there were positive significant on three of the factors; work relationship, self-efficiency, payment and reward, while negative significant to the factor job security. To promote the satisfaction of the staffs, the organization must consider this variable in order to gain the best brain (Mustapha & Zakaria, 2013).
Blended learning in general is a program that designed for students which is combination face-to-face and online learning. The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of using blended learning (i-Learn) among students in UiTM Melaka. An online questionnaire with 11 items at demographic section and 20 items was designed to evaluate the aspect of blended learning. The study involved of 200 respondents of UITM Melaka which are from Alor Gajah, Bandaraya Melaka and Jasin campus by using Google Form platform. The amount of survey calculated based on Krejcie and Morgan Table, N=210, S=132. There are three elements designed in the research to measure the effectiveness of using blended learning (i-Learn) among students in UiTM Melaka which are time management, study achievement and social interaction. All variables were measured through scales previously used by other researchers. SPSSS ver. 20 software was used in the analysis and the results of the SPSS indicated that the main factor of using blended learning is time management (M= 3.08).
